The Search is Over!

For the past three days, my soon to be roommates (Laurie, Sarah, and Stephanie) and I have been going from complex to complex, knocking on random doors, and asking if we can come in and look at the apartment layout. Laurie became especially good at this and even worked out a little speech ("Hey we're actually looking for apartments for next year and were wondering if we could check out your layout?") I have no idea how many complexes we went to. At least ten. I discovered through this little journey that unless I want to remember something, (like how much I loved the first place we stopped) I will completely forget the places we went to and even what they looked like. Anyway- we went to mostly apartments, a few condos, and were lucky enough to stumble upon some married housing. (Not a good sign when we saw the high chair by the table) I loved the first apartment we went to- a nice little setup in a complex called Park Plaza. We did keep looking however, and even stopped by the Elms, where my mom once lived- 30 years ago. I guess when she lived there it was really nice? Now, however, it's pretty run down, and is more expensive than the one we chose. After Laurie and I looked around a bit, we picked up Sarah and Stephanie to show them the best options we found. We saved Park Plaza for last, and, much to my satisfaction, everyone agreed it was the best choice! I'll post pictures pretty soon. I'm so excited- everything is nice, it's a good price, and it's extremely close to campus! And my roommates are going to be awesome- I'm stoked for next year!

Kim- I know! I'm stoked!! We will rock that place. Hey you should talk to Kaylie and Haylie if you guys want to get together, they're all 4 person apartments.

Elise- Haha all I have to say is you would.

You guys should be missionaries - way to go with the door to door approach. Man, who was the genius who suggested that (*cough*ahem*me*cough). Peace homies~

Yay! I found your blog! And at 2 in the morning! Yeah! So, I'll be figuring out how to put you on my friendsies list or fav list or whatever. And what's a tag? Dang, I really need to go to bed so I can be sufficiently enthusiastic for 'Phil' tomorrow.
