Alright, alright, alright alright alright! Hey!

So about a month ago- actually exactly a month ago because it was on my birthday, I interviewed to be an EFY counselor for this summer. It was a group interview, and at the end of the interview, the lady informed the girls that because so many girls apply, we shouldn't be upset or take it personally if we weren't offered the job. I remember she spent a good ten minutes talking about other options if we didn't make it, and the whole time I was thinking, "Yeah yeah yeah, we don't get it, get over it, I understand." So I had decided not to count on it. However :) I got an email this Friday and they want to hire me! I'm pretty excited and I think it'll be a really fun way to spend my summer. It will also be fun because Maryn is going to be at BYU as a student this summer, so we'll totally be able to hang out on the weekends! It will be awesome.:)

This weekend was pretty fun. Friday night we didn't do too much- Laurie, Sarah, and I pretty much just chilled around the dorms. Around midnight or so I decided to go up to bed because of a headache, but ended up just laying in bed for a while. At one, my friend Colin texted me and asked if I wanted to get ice cream. We had been meaning to hang out earlier, but I thought, "Eh, why not? Sure, I'll get ice cream." :) I love being in college- everything is so spontaneous and you just do whatever you feel like. So we went and got shakes and talked for a while and around three he dropped me off. It was fun. I had a test the next day, which I got a B on- I feel good about it. After that was the real fun- the BYU vs UNLV basketball game.:D

We had to wait in line for over an hour in the cold to get tickets for the Utah game this week, and then this game- so good! BYU had some amazing plays and rebounds and ah- I love college basketball!! We won of course.:)

Here's some pictures I took while we waited in line:

Cougar Basketball :)

A few UNLV fans, who, I have to give props to. They actually cheered a lot, which I thought was good. Even though we killed them in the end.;)

YAY CAITLAN! That is so awesome about the EFY counseling thing-- you'll be great! I have such great memories of my EFY counselors.

Pretty pics, too. Too bad you were in line for BYU basketball, though... shame, shame. :)

CONGRATULATIONS!! i am way excited for you- now you don't have to wonder about what to do this summer! that is funny about your ice cream adventure- i would be pissed if someone even called me at one- let alone wanted me to get out of bed!!

Ugh, that title alone brought back summer days of you and every other deluded post-EFY attendee shouting in time - one of those eye-rolling moments for me. But! I am stoked that you got the job because you will rock the heck out of those kids' week and enjoy doing it. And I just know you'll find little mini 'us'es and show them the wild and wonderful ways of getting older and getting more responsibilities and never actually maturing. Their lives will never be the same.

Hahahaha Tia I don't know why I didn't see your comment earlier, but it made me laugh pretty hard.
