Must be the uniform...

I currently work as a cashier at that Sugar and Spice place I worked at last semester. Last semester, I only scooped ice cream or gave people their donuts. This semester, however, I deal with money all day. (And I'm pleased to say that I come up even every time, I count change that well) The fun/funny part about this job- I get hit on ridiculously frequently. I kind of want to start counting how many people wink at me, how many people wink at me when telling me to keep the change (of five cents- wow these guys are so nice) and how many people wink at me when I say something funny. It just gets a little ridiculous sometimes. And I'm sure I bring it upon myself. (Laurie once said that the day I don't talk to a cute boy is the day Hell freezes over...) However- the funny thing about this is that after work, when I'm wearing normal clothes (as opposed to hat and apron) all hopes for being hit on are pretty much dismissed. Perhaps I should start wearing my work apparel everywhere I go... hm...

It's not the uniform . . .it's the ICE CREAM.

Oh Kim, what a card you are!

Ahem, no, seriously, I think it's the counter, the authority. If you were to wear your apron around all day for no reason, you would have zero respect, from everyone, including me. But behind the counter, with the money, punching those buttons on the display, you're unstoppable, and irresistible.
