O Holy Night, The Stars are Brightly Shining

I saw this on Elise's blogs, and I love these sorts of things! But I'm afraid my answers will be a little less Holiday-spirit oriented than hers. Haha oh well.

1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? I like both. I love to wrap things and make them look pretty. I have to say though- there are a lot more fun things you can do with a gift bag- like cool colored tissue paper.

2. Real tree or Artificial? Real for sure. I consider it an insult to the season if you get a fake tree.

3. When do you put up the tree? If it was up to me, it'd be right after Halloween. I love the tree.

4. When do you take the tree down? Again, if it was up to me, we'd keep it up until my birthday(Jan 16) and then take it down, after ALL the holidays had been celebrated.:)

5. Favorite gift received as a child? Um, I remember wanting a giant Winnie the Pooh when I was 7. I still have it actually.

6. Do you have a nativity scene? Haha actually yes I do. It's pretty little but I like it and it goes well in small spaces, like dorms.

7. Hardest person to buy for? I think everyone is hard to buy for. I have been fortunate enough this season to stumble upon some perfect gifts, but I almost wish we could only give gifts to people when we found something we knew they'd love. I hate it when you buy someone a gift just for the sake of getting them something- that's where gift cards come in.:)

8. Easiest to buy for? Hm, see above question.

9. Mail or e-mail Christmas cards? Mail! I love to get things in the mail!

10. Worst Christmas gift you ever received? Haha I don't know. But it is the worst when someone gives you something and you didn't give them something.

11. Favorite Christmas Movie? It's a Wonderful Life. I love anything with Jimmy Stuart!

12. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present? Haha no.

13. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas? Almond Roca and hot chocolate- I love hot chocolate, especiallys Stephen's Gourmet in its many flavors.:) (Italian Amaretto- so good)

14. Clear lights or colored on the tree? Both. I love all kinds of Christmas lights and like them to be everywhere.

15. Favorite Christmas song? O Holy Night- but only if it's sung well! (aka NOT Celine Dion, sorry) And in church I like The First Noel and It Came Upon A Midnight Clear.

16. Travel at Christmas or stay home? Mm I don't know. For the past couple years we've being going to Sacramento and I always kind of liked that, but wished we could stay home. Haha now that we'll be home for Christmas I'm kind of missing California. It's not where you are but who you are with though.:)

17. Can you name all of Santa's reindeer? Dasher, Dancer, Donner, Vixen, Comet and Cupid and Donner and Blitzen- yes. Yes I can.

18. Open the presents Christmas Eve or morning? Jammies on Christmas Eve, everything else Christmas morning.

19. Most annoying thing about this time of year? Lines, lines everywhere. And I hate when the stores are just trashed and unorganized because of how many customers there are.

20. Favorite ornament theme or color? I really like things that are white/silver- like we have this one snowflake ornament that is all silver wire with clear beads- I love it.

21. Favorite for Christmas dinner? Cornbread stuffing. Seriously the best thing in the world.

22. What do you want for Christmas this year? Hm.. many things.:) But I'm really mostly excited to see everyone in my family (especially baby Graham!) and to talk to my brother, and the break from Cougartown will be especially nice.

I am tagging Natalie. Woohoo!
